Problem with my pet platypus , please help? - keep platypus as pet

Platypus my pet has a cough, I kept out of the water for a week, someone knows something to fix this problem

Platypus pets! Hahaha this is so cool! I do not know platypus (or Platypi, whatever) cough. I would be back in the water ...? Platypus are marine animals?

Edit: Oh, I see. Maybe you could bring him to the vet, I do not know many vets who trained in dealing with Platypi. Determine the number of in an aquarium in the area and ask the person who gives Platypi handles.

Well, I do not have a quick search on Wikipedia (reliable, but it's start), which say they are semi-aquatic, so do not worry, he / she is out of the water too long as it is to stay hydrated and cool.

Take him to a veterinarian specializing in exotic pets (I delete a crocodile) or the nearest zoo veterinarians. Best wishes for you and your friend androgynous!
